When will my item ship out?

Our desserts are baked fresh, packaged and shipped right to your door.  USPS, UPS, or FEDEX are the the carriers for all shipments from Dolce Kitchen. Orders received before Sunday 12 pm EST will shipped the following Wednesday.

When will my item arrive?

We ship on Wednesday’s by USPS, UPS, or FEDEX (2-5 day delivery depending on the item) within the U.S. though your order could arrive sooner when using USPS standard delivery.

What is the cost of shipping?

The team at Dolce Kitchen aims to keep the cost of shipping perishables at a minimum. For the consumer, we want you to have the best shipping options without comprising the product. Next day delivery is available for an additional shipping fee. Please contact us directly for this request.

Product Order
If shipped by USPS Priority Mail regional rates by zones are used.

Shipping prices depends on the product you will be purchasing + a small handing fee.
PLEASE NOTE: Zones 5, 6, 7, & 8 ship at higher shipping rates.

How will my Dolce Kitchen desserts arrive?

Your products will arrive cool to the touch when you open the package. Packages may contain partially-dissipated gel packs. This is common in the shipping process. Each order is very carefully packed and individually bagged and sealed for freshness and protection. Our desserts are placed into a corrugated box for their protection.  Once your products arrive, please keep them refrigerated until serving day (except for baklava and alfajores which don’t need refrigeration).  It is the responsibility of the consumer to follow all health and safety guidelines when handling products.

Can I order over the phone?

No, all orders are placed through our website. You may contact us via email or by phone with any questions you may have.

What types of payments do you accept?

Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover and PayPal.

Is the credit card checkout system secure?

Yes, the checkout process for Dolce Kitchen happens entirely via Paypal. Please refer to the Paypal website for up-to-date information on their security policies and procedures.

What is your cancellation policy?

We understand that unexpected circumstances arise and you may need to cancel.  For orders of standard items,  we ask that you contact us by the Sunday by 5:00 pm before your product ship date of Wednesday.
Cancellations of orders of non-regularly made or “custom” items require a minimum of 72 hour advance notice.  Cancellation fees will apply as these items are made just for you and will likely be discarded.

I'm having issues with placing my order. What do I do?

What are the locations and hours of your shop?

Dolce Kitchen is located in Frederick Maryland. We are a pre order baker so all of our products are extremely fresh!! Please contact us if you would like to pick up your order from our facility.

Can I make a suggestion for items for Dolce Kitchen to carry?

Do you offer pricing for bulk quantity, or wholesale ordering?

What if there is severe weather? Will it cause a delay in my shipment?

Should there be severe weather alerts, Dolce Kitchen reserves the right to temporarily refrain from processing orders based on severe weather in the transit process. Customers are notified immediately via phone and/or email of the slight delay.

Can I return an item?

Due to the perishable nature of our products, Dolce Kitchen orders are shipped carefully in insulated packages/custom coolers, and gel paks with stringent “perishable” shipping specifications through your designated carrier. That said, unfortunately anything that we send out may not be sent back to us for a return.

All sales are final.

What do I do if my items are damaged?

We take precaution when packaging our products, but understand that damages can occur during shipment. If products arrive to you damaged, please contact us immediately upon receipt of receiving the package. Please email us a photo of the damaged product so that we can contact our carrier.

My package was never delivered. Can you send me another package?

For lost or stolen packages:
Please contact Dolce Kitchen within 4 hours for lost or stolen packages. Our team will be happy to resolve the matter. Please ship using these methods at your own risk. Dolce Kitchen cannot be responsible for lost or untraceable packages. For packages with undeliverable address or absent recipient, Dolce Kitchen is not responsible for packages that were undeliverable due to an incorrect address that was submitted at checkout or because the recipient was absent. If the package is returned to Dolce Kitchen due to an undeliverable address or absent recipient, we will contact the customer. At that time, the customer can choose to submit payment for Dolce Kitchen to send it to the recipient again. Please be aware that most carriers make up to three delivery attempts, excluding weekends and holidays. Please visit USPS.com for their current policies on redelivery.

Will you share my personal information?

No, Dolce Kitchen is committed to protecting your privacy. We use the information we collect on the site to make shopping at thedolcekitchen.com as simple as possible and to improve the overall shopping experience on the site. We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to anyone.
